Leo XIV warns against those who “radicalize” Catholic teaching. Pope Leo XIV spoke during a Eucharist in St. Peter’s Basilica marking the opening of the 2026–2027 academic year for Rome’s Pontifical Universities. He said: “In every age, there is no shortage of false teachers who exploit the religious sentiments of many believers for their own interests, often pushing them to radicalize certain aspects of the teaching they have received at the expense of the whole — the whole, which is Christ and his Gospel.” Leo XIV then invented a Church’s responsibility for both “to safeguard” the revelation but also “to develop, within diverse contexts, a prayerful understanding of it”. #newsCulbilpxew
Watch over your children. Always. Even when other kids are around. I don’t care how polite, quiet, sweet, or well-behaved another child may seem. You do not know what that child has seen. You do not know what kind of language they hear every day, what situations have become normal in their home, or what emotional weight they may already be carrying on shoulders that are far too small for it. Some children are exposed to things your child has never had to think about—and should never have to. Words they should not know yet. Behaviors they should not be dealing with. Confusing or unhealthy ideas about what is acceptable. And that is not necessarily the child’s fault. Children absorb the environments they grow up in. They learn from what they see, what they hear, what adults allow, and what they are forced to accept as normal. But your child is still your responsibility, and your child deserves protection. Not every home teaches respect. Not every child understands personal boundaries. And …མང་བ།
Gloria.tv needs you! For nearly two decades, Catholics and people of goodwill have been posting on Gloria.tv. Others read, comment on, and share their posts. Real people connect with real people. Every day, we block hundreds of thousands of bots. So far, around 200 donors have contributed a total of about €7,000 to our autumn fundraising campaign. One €50 donation came from an 88-year-old priest in Germany. He wrote in late September: “I thank you for your dedication, and may God bless your continued work for our Roman Catholic Church.” Can you help us raise the remaining €3,000 to cover our expenses until Advent? You can donate by PayPal or credit card through Kindful. Thank you very much for your help. May God reward you! #newsJnpqkzekit
“Leo has spent his pontificate advancing what Francis started, and on Wednesday the Church under Leo XIV kept moving forward with the anniversary logo hanging right behind him.”
LEGALLY THE EU CAN BE CORRECTED ON VATICAN COUNCIL II, IRRATIONAL. Legally, why must Catholics accept the interpretation of Vatican Council II by the European Union, the Italian Government and the Vatican, with the Irrational Premise, False Inference and liberal and non traditional conclusion? We now have a rational, traditional and honest option. Their Cushingism confuses what is invisible (LG 16 for example) as being physically visible in the present times and then they produce a liberal and non traditional conclusion. Instead with Feeneyism, which sees invisible cases as just being invisible, produces a traditional and rational conclusion. The Church returns to the old ecclesiology. The list of baptism of desire cases, on the sedevacantist website CMRI, is interpreted with Cushingism. But that same list can be interpreted with Feeneyism and the conclusion would be traditional. The baptism of desire would no more be a practical exception for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus …མང་བ།
After 40 and beyond… you’re no longer looking for a boyfriend, you’re looking for peace. After forty, something changes. You’re no longer looking for someone to come into your life and turn everything upside down with beautiful promises, intense emotions, and words that sound wonderful for a few weeks. At this point, you want something much simpler… and much harder to find: peace. You no longer need a relationship to prove to anyone that you are loved. You have a life you’ve built, experiences that have taught you, wounds that helped you grow, and a much clearer idea of what you want—and, above all, what you are no longer willing to accept. Promises no longer excite you as much. Actions do. You want someone who says what they feel, but who is also capable of proving it through their actions. Someone who can talk to you without turning every disagreement into a battle. Someone who knows how to apologize. Someone mature enough to admit when they are wrong. Because after forty, you’re not …མང་བ།
Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone has said the Church experienced greater unity under Pope Benedict XVI’s Summorum Pontificum than it does under Pope Francis’s Traditionis Custodes. In an interview with French Catholic newspaper Tribune Chrétienne on October 8, the Archbishop of San Francisco said the restrictions placed on the traditional liturgy risk repeating wounds caused by the rapid liturgical changes that followed the Second Vatican Council.
Archbishop Cordileone of San Francisco: "There was more unity in the Church when we were living under Summorum Pontificum than we are now under Traditionis Custodes."
Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller declared that the Marian title Co-Redemptrix expresses “a truth objectively contained in revelation”. He said at the De Maria numquam satis conference in Rome on October 8 that the title is neither “a misleading attribution nor an enthusiastic exaggeration.” “This title must not be silenced because of rejection by Protestants,” Cardinal Müller said, criticizing the Protestant understanding of justification for excluding man's free cooperation in redemption. Cardinal Müller also rejected the objection that the title Co-Redemptrix appeared only in the late Middle Ages. “The fact that a truth of faith is contained in Revelation must not be confused with its conceptual formulation,” he said, comparing its development to the later theological formulation of Christological doctrines. “Anyone who knows the rules of Catholic theology can find no reason for scandal in the analogical use of Christological and soteriological titles,” he added. Cardinal Müller did not …མང་བ།
A house (church) divided against itself, will not last. The traditionalists MUST hold fast and never accept the modernist ideas that are attacking dogma and morality.
Coming soon to a community near you. A town near me is presently considering this while hiding the negotiations from the public so they can't be informed and object.
Cardinal notes “changing understandings of gender,” says Church must discern how to change. At Leo XIV's meeting marking ten years of Amoris Laetitia on October 8, Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão delivered a speech on the challenges facing families in Asia. He is the President of the Conference of Bishops of India. Discussing changes in the “identity, nature and composition of the family,” the cardinal observed that “new forms of partnership and cohabitation are emerging, amid changing understandings of gender and relationships in urban settings.” Reflecting on what the Church has learned from its pastoral work, Ferrão declared: “Pastoral work is itself a place of discernment. We don't arrive with ready-made answers. We discern together with families and, in doing so, we learn how the Church herself is being asked to change.” In his conclusion, the cardinal stated that “there is no single stereotype of an ideal family” and asked, “What is the Holy Spirit asking the Church to change – not …མང་བ།
In his conclusion, the cardinal stated that “there is no single stereotype of an ideal family” The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches: 2202 - A man and a woman united in marriage, together with their children, form a family. This institution is prior to any recognition by public authority, which has an obligation to recognize it. It should be considered the normal reference point by which the different forms of family relationship are to be evaluated. Maybe the cardinal should read the Catechism.
I think a motu proprio secret tribunal commanding a well organised and trained task force will be formed soon to handle heretics in the higher hierarchy. They are relatively soft targets after all.
: Isabel Vaughan-Spruce has pleaded "not guilty" to fresh charges for standing and silently praying inside a "buffer zone". The new charges were presented at an ongoing hearing, in which Isabel's legal team is arguing that her prosecution amounts to an "abuse of process" and breaches her human rights to freedom of thought and religion. The judge has also commented that “standing is not a crime" and "Courts are not here to pass judgment on people’s views.”
“The Creator is the source of human dignity, not the State.” Cardinal Willem Jacobus Eijk of Utrecht, Netherlands, argued in an October 8 interview with LaNuovaBq.it that democratic majorities cannot determine fundamental human rights. Without recognition of God as Creator, the State assumes the power to decide who deserves legal protection and who does not, including unborn children. Eijk insisted that legislation must be grounded in natural moral law. He also pointed to growing numbers of young Catholics in France, the Netherlands and England who embrace Church doctrine as a sign of hope.
BTW, the above usually leads to perhaps the greatest blasphemy of our times i.e. that a temporal life is sacred. Here the cult of Holy Martyrs of God ends and starts the one of idols and demons.
Strange words. We can talk about our Creator in many different praises: as the Source of life, truth, love, beauty, our reasonable soul and its salvation. But human dignity or "human rights"? God is no suffragist or cheap politician. And He is no humanist either. In his relationship, as the creature, towards God man does not need any human dignity/human rights and cannot claim one (as he is unworthy) unless he wants to claim "non serviam" - just as the ancient serpent. And the State, just as the man, should also serve God which the post-conciliar revolution forgot about. It is the source of things forbidden to the State, killing children included. The God's direct commandment, God's direct order, yes also the natural law. Not any inalienable dignity or "human rights". Hell is full of people who claimed them.
Former Italian priest Luca Favarin, 54, has become a father. After 25 years as a priest in the Diocese of Padua, Favarin welcomed his son Zaccaria on September 28. “If necessary, I will have the courage to die for you, because I have seen the most beautiful thing: the birth of a child,” he wrote on facebook. Favarin became known for his work with illegal immigrants, prisoners and people on the margins, as well as his commitment to homosexual privileges. He also denied Catholic teaching on assisted dying. After conflicts with his diocese and suspension, he left the clerical state in 2023. In August, Corriere.it asked Favarin about marriage and he replied: “It’s not a priority at the moment.” The mother of his child is described as his partner, a woman he met through social-sector work. #newsVepspjixwq
