Archbishop José Rafael Quirós Quirós, 71, of San José, Costa Rica, has ordered that kneelers are not to be placed in churches for the distribution of Holy Communion, reports InfoVaticana.com. This measure is ordered in a circular dated 13 May. It is signed by the Episcopal Delegate for Liturgy, Rev. Francisco Morales González. "From now on, kneelers are not to be installed in churches for the distribution of Communion," the document states. The circular responds to questions raised in recent weeks regarding the installation of kneelers for the faithful who wish to receive Communion while kneeling. It "argues" that the presence of kneelers could lead some of the faithful to believe that receiving Communion while kneeling is "the only form established by the Church". The decree also claims that kneelers could hinder access for elderly people or those with mobility difficulties who are accustomed to receiving Communion while standing. #newsTqsbzfubql
Hmmm. The faithful might believe that receiving Communion while kneeling is "the only form established by the Church". What about those that think receiving on the hand is "the only form established by the Church"? Here's a simple solution: let those who wish to stand, let them stand. Let those that wish to kneel, let them kneel.
Un repentant sinners hate our lord so much what wrong with pouring expensive perfume over our Lord as sign of Love. Today perfume is kneeling before our maker pouring out our hearts,

On May 15, Leo XIV spoke on the phone with Egyptian Tawadros II, the leader of the Coptic Orthodox group, reaffirming his commitment to closer ties. As usual, the Holy See called the conversation “cordial and fraternal”, focussing on Christian unity, dialogue, and peace in the Middle East. Both expressed their desire overcome obstacles to dialogue “in faith and charity.” In a letter to Tawadros II for the Day of Coptic-Catholic Friendship (May 10), Leo XIV said that “at a time when our world is afflicted by so many conflicts, particularly in the Middle East, Christians must, more than ever, strive for full unity so that we may bear witness together to the Prince of Peace.” The Coptic Orthodox split from the Church after the Council of Chalcedon in 451, rejecting the Chalcedonian formula of "two natures", effectively denying or diminishing the full human nature of Christ. #newsQczszkqnmq
"Excommunication of FSSPX Will Go Down in History as Huge Error of Leo XIV": Talking to EWTN on May 14, Bishop Athanasius Schneider notes that the Vatican shows leniency toward anti-Catholic movements, the German Synodal Way, and even state-controlled forces like Communist China, while cracking down harshly on the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X: “Now it seems that the Vatican and the Pope are showing their power: ‘We have the power. We will excommunicate them.’ This is not synodal. This is not pastoral. If the Pope excommunicates them, it will go down in history as a huge error of rigidity, pastoral rigidity, and one-sided severity toward tradition in the Church.”
Bishop Schneider told EWTN that if Pope Leo excommunicates the SSPX “this will go down in history as a huge error in pastoral rigidity and one-sided pastoral severity towards tradition in the Church”

Pope Leo XIV has established a Vatican commission dedicated to artificial intelligence. The “Interdicasterial Commission for Artificial Intelligence” includes representatives from seven Vatican dicasteries: Doctrine of the Faith, Culture and Education, Communication, and Integral Human Development, as well as the Pontifical Academies for Life, Sciences, and Social Sciences. According to the Vatican, the new body aims to promote cooperation and information exchange on AI-related projects and to develop internal guidelines for the use of artificial intelligence. The commission will initially be coordinated for one year by Cardinal Michael Czerny, 79. #newsMymxarmlmb
I've got a idea. Let's train an AI model on all the pre Vatican II documents (council documents and encyclicals), then ask the AI if the Vatican II documents are Catholic.

Germany’s Synodal Conference "Postponed": Presiding German Bishop Heiner Wilmer said he does not expect the first meeting of Germany’s planned Synodal Conference to take place in November as originally scheduled. Speaking at the Katholikentag in Würzburg, he pointed to ongoing Vatican review processes, saying the proposal is moving “from one dicastery to the next.” Bishop Wilmer nevertheless said he is “confident that it will continue,” while adding that “some patience” is needed. The Synod Conference is a permanent national body that makes decisions for the entire country, thereby exercising authority over individual bishops.

God may have given animals less intelligence than us, but nobody will ever convince me He didn't give them souls--eternal souls. I think we'll find Heaven a lot more crowded than we've been led to believe.
Milan Archdiocese has announced plans for a new interreligious “Ambrosian Monastery.” The futuristic religious complex will be built in the MIND district on the former Expo grounds. Designed by architect Stefano Boeri, the project includes a triangular church and a triangular cloister. The large covered structure has been compared to a shopping mall or even a ski-jump platform. According to the Archdiocese, a permanent resident community is expected to live at the site, although no religious institute or monastic order has yet been identified. The complex will cover around 2,700 square meters, with more than 1,100 square meters dedicated to public and open-access areas. Representing Different Monotheistic Faith Unlike a monastery centered on God, prayer, and liturgy, the new structure is conceived as an interreligious and cultural hub. Diocesan presentations describe it as “a space for spirituality, dialogue, and reflection” intended to bring together religions, cultures, science, and …Engeta
The General Secretariat of the Synod has distanced itself from the pro-homosexual report prepared by Working Group No. 9 of the Synod on Synodality. This gesture, which amounts to little more than a fig leaf, followed a strong online backlash. However, Leo XIV has taken no personnel action. And, even worse, he continues to appoint more pro-homosexual bishops. The synod's report contained criticism of the Catholic apostolate 'Courage' that helps homosexuals to resist their temptations. It also presents flowery testimonies from people in homosexual "marriages". 'Courage' condemned the text for containing 'slander' and 'defamation'. In a statement to Religión Confidencial, the Secretariat's communications team said that the published final report "cannot be attributed to the General Secretariat" and emphasised that they are merely "working documents". The team added that its role was limited "exclusively to translating summaries, editing reports, and publishing and distributing them", …Engeta

The Winnipeg Statement is a significant document issued by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops in 1968 .Which holds more weight in todays Rome Humanae Vitae or Winnipeg statement . So obvious the same game plan is being used on Homosexual unions . Majority of Novus ordo Catholics follow heretical beliefs willing to follow their feelings instead of Church teaching . Definition of insanity doing same thing over and over expecting different results Be happy being the remnant SSPX
I've been a garlic grower for years, too. I had the most success growing it in a garden, but it hasn't made it through the winter when I've planted it in pots. Either something is eating it or it has gotten too cold. Fermenting garlic in honey and then storing the jars in the refrigerator has given me a way to make it last more than one growing season.
On 14 May, Fr Davide Pagliarani, the Superior of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X, wrote to Pope Leo XIV. The open letter was issued less than 24 hours after Cardinal Tucho Fernández threatened excommunication. The Priestly Fraternity laments to have spent over 50 years alerting the Holy See to doctrinal and moral errors, yet these concerns have not received a satisfactory response; instead, Rome is considering canonical sanctions. Fr Pagliarani does not address the issue of episcopal consecration or a papal mandate for it. Instead, he published a 'Declaration of Faith', stating that it represents “the minimum indispensable to be in communion with the Church, and to truly call ourselves Catholics and, consequently, your sons”. The declaration presents itself as being loyal to the Pope. It repeatedly addresses Leo XIV reverence, using titles such as 'Most Holy Father' and 'Your Holiness'. The FSSPX asks Leo XIV to be “instructed and confirmed” in the Declaration of Faith. The …Engeta
The synodal sect possesses a counterfeit Peter—a false Peter without Christ. —who wages war against Christ and the Church. It is apostate, schismatic, and heretical. It is a place where the Gates of Hell reign—gates which the Church Fathers have identified as heresy and the vices of sexual impurity. Indeed, within the synodal sect, sodomy reigns supreme (as evidenced by *Fiducia Supplicans*—which equates to sodomy and adultery/cohabitation—and *Amoris Laetitia*, which promotes Eucharistic sacrilege against Christ for the benefit of sodomites and adulterers). The synodal sect lacks the four marks of the Catholic Church. It is not *Apostolic*, for it lacks true apostolic succession and seeks a form of governance that is not hierarchical, but rather horizontal. It is not *One*, for it promotes the false gods of false religions and denies the Most Holy Trinity through the heresy of religious indifferentism. It is not *Catholic*, but rather *Synodal*; its adherents explicitly reject …Engeta

The talk of a Catholic revival spurred by a surge in adult conversions is misplaced, writes Matthew Schmitz in FirstThings.com (May 12). Conversions show no signs of offsetting the broader decline of Catholic life in the United States. Schmitz points to statistics. In 2000, 2.6 million American children attended Catholic schools. By 2025, that number had fallen to 1.6 million. In 2001, more than a quarter-million Catholic weddings took place in the United States; by 2024, there were only around 107,000. Infant baptisms have also collapsed: more than one million infants were baptized in the Church in 2001, compared with fewer than half a million in 2024. "Catholicism" in Service of U.S. Political Interests At the same time, Schmitz argues that while the Church is shrinking institutionally, Catholic ideas and language are allegely shaping public debate in America. Discussions about immigration, war, political authority, and moral responsibility are now often conducted using Catholic concepts …Engeta

Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira Folha de S. Paulo, 12th March 1969 (*) When we speak of tradition, many people think of England, the Queen the House of Lords, Rolls Royces, top hats and British distinction and poise… All of these impressions, considered as a whole, cause divergent reactions in people's minds. Very many see tradition under different hues as time goes by, depending on the varying impressions current lifestyles successively cause upon them. At times, the hustle and bustle of huge modern cities fascinate them. They feel enthused about today's colossal organizations, mammoth planning and technology all of which are turning science fiction into reality. At those moments, tradition looks like a sad backwardness to many of our contemporaries. In the midst of the whirlwind that is overthrowing all hierarchies and blowing away all clothing, tradition feels like stifling yoke. But when the triumphant vulgarity of an increasingly egalitarian world, the noisy, frantic, and hurly-burly …Engeta
