"Strong Lobby Within the Church for the Homosexual Agenda": Rev Donald Haggerty of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York, criticized during a May 11 homily the Vatican Synod study document proposing a “reconsideration” of homosexual relations: "It’s kind of stunning to have that coming out of a document from the Vatican." He added that "there is a strong lobby within the Church for the homosexual agenda".
Fr. Donald Haggerty denounced the Synod study document’s proposed “rethinking” of homosexuality as a disturbing challenge to Catholic teaching.
A year ago, days before the papal conclave, Dr. Taylor Marshall said this about the future Pope Leo: I believe he is the dark horse candidate… he could be the worst case scenario… this man shouldn’t be a cardinal, shouldn’t be a pope.
And yet, I might be wrong but he erased such comments, and then "fully summited" obidience to Leo... I wonder what he said when Leo took out our Lady's tittles away and said NO one has the whole truth.

May 13th - Saint of the Day: Saint André-Hubert Fournet, Priest He once wrote that he would “never be a monk or a priest.” Then God turned him into a saint.Saint André-Hubert Fournet was a French priest who lived through the chaos of the French Revolution, refused to compromise his Catholic faith, and secretly celebrated Mass while priests were being hunted. But one of the most surprising moments of his life came from a beggar. When the poor man asked him for help, Fournet said he had no money. The beggar looked at his comfortable table and said, “Your table is covered with it!” That one sentence changed him. He became a priest of deep charity, a hidden shepherd of persecuted Catholics, and co-founder of the Daughters of the Cross, serving poor children, the sick, and forgotten souls. His final lesson? Give to the poor “with both hands… and without counting.” That hits hard. Read the full story at HolyManna.blog and discover more saints, feast days, and …More

Dorsey in terms persuasive enough that the chief prosecuting officer of Fulton County has shifted the direction of the investigation to explore it. The theory was advanced by an unknown criminologist, and while Dorsey acknowledges there is as yet nothing definitive to show for it, he considers the idea well worth pursuing. The Solicitor refuses to reveal the nature of the theory or identify who brought it forward. He did, however, offer a statement that many will find significant. "We are not bottled up by any one theory," Dorsey said. "We have not concluded, and we are open to the truth." If the new theory proves correct, it is …More

Pope to Vatican Observatory: Church embraces … Pope Leo XIV held an audience on Monday with the Board of the Vatican Observatory Foundation. In his address, the Pope recalled that Pope Leo XIII re-founded the Vatican Observatory in 1891, at a time when science was being presented as a rival source of truth to religion. The 19th-century Pope said he was re-founding the institution so that, “everyone might see clearly that the Church and her Pastors are not opposed to true and solid science, whether human or divine, but that they embrace it, encourage it, and promote it with the fullest possible devotion.” However, in our own times, both faith and science face a more insidious threat from those who deny the very existence of objective truth, said Pope Leo XIV. “Too many in our world refuse to acknowledge what both science and the Church plainly teach,” he said, “that we bear a solemn responsibility for the stewardship of our planet and for the welfare of those who dwell upon it, especially …More
